Two things live under your avatar → Profile: exporting a copy of your data, on the Your Data page, and closing your account, on Delete Account.

Exporting your data

The Your Data page produces a copy of your data in a machine-readable format (JSON). The export covers your profile, chats, workflows, vault file metadata, memories, notification preferences, and your app preferences.

By default the export includes metadata about your vault files (names, sizes, folders), but not the files themselves. Tick Include vault file contents to bundle the actual files too. The page warns that this can make the export much larger and slower to prepare.

Click Export My Data and the export is prepared in the background. You don't have to wait on the page: a Data export ready notification arrives by email and in-app when the download is ready. This one always sends, whatever your notification settings say.

Deleting your account

Before anything happens, the Delete Account page spells out exactly what deletion means:

• Your account is scheduled for deletion with a 48-hour grace period.
• During those 48 hours, you can cancel the deletion from this same page.
• After 48 hours, your account is permanently deactivated.
• Data is retained in accordance with the privacy policy and terms of service.
• All active sessions are terminated when deletion is confirmed.

Deletion starts with I understand, send verification code — a code goes to your email, so a stolen open laptop isn't enough to erase your account. Nothing is scheduled until you confirm that code.

If you're leaving an organization rather than leaving Futurity, talk to your org admin first. Removing your membership doesn't require deleting your account, and workflows or dashboards you built may be worth handing over rather than losing.

If you do go through with it: consider exporting your data first. The grace period is there for second thoughts, but the export only works while the account still exists.
