Quick Actions
Section titled “Quick Actions”From any file in Vault, you can:
- Preview: View the file without downloading
- Download: Save to your device
- Share: Generate a share link or invite collaborators
- Move: Relocate to a different folder or directory
- Rename: Change the file or folder name
- Delete: Move to trash (recoverable for 30 days)
- Restore: Recover files from trash
- Permanent Delete: Permanently remove files from trash
Trash & Recovery
Section titled “Trash & Recovery”Deleted files and folders are moved to Trash first, allowing for recovery:
Trash Features
Section titled “Trash Features”- 30-day retention: Files stay in trash for 30 days before auto-deletion
- Restore to original location: Files return to where they were deleted from
- Empty trash: Permanently delete all trash items at once
- Permanent delete: Remove specific items from trash immediately
- Trash view: Access trash from the Vault sidebar
Directory Operations
Section titled “Directory Operations”Vault supports full directory management:
- Create directories: Organize files into folders and subfolders
- Rename directories: Change folder names
- Move directories: Relocate entire folders and their contents
- Delete directories: Remove folders (contents go to trash)
- List directory contents: Navigate through folder hierarchy
