Organizing Files

Keep your Vault organized to make files easy to find—for you and Corint.

  1. Navigate to Vault
  2. Click New Folder or the folder icon
  3. Enter a folder name
  4. Press Enter or click Create

Create subfolders by:

  • Opening a parent folder first, then creating a new folder
  • Dragging an existing folder into another folder

By Project

Simply drag files from your computer into the Vault interface.

  1. Click the Upload button
  2. Select files from your computer
  3. Choose the destination folder (or upload to current location)
  4. Click Upload

Select multiple files at once:

  • Hold Ctrl (Windows) or Cmd (Mac) and click to select multiple
  • Or drag a selection box around multiple files

Drag files or folders to move them:

  • Drag to a folder to move inside
  • Drag to the breadcrumb navigation to move to parent folders
  1. Right-click the file or click the menu (⋮)
  2. Select Move
  3. Choose the destination folder
  4. Click Move

Select multiple files, then use the bulk actions toolbar to move them together.

  1. Click the file name or select Rename from the menu
  2. Enter the new name
  3. Press Enter

Use the search bar at the top of Vault:

  • Search by filename
  • Search by file content (for text-based files)

Filter your search by:

  • File type
  • Date uploaded
  • Date modified
  • Folder location

Ask Corint to find files:

Find all PDF files uploaded in the last week
Search for documents mentioning "quarterly budget"

Deleted files go to Trash first:

  • Select the file
  • Click Delete or press Delete key
  • Confirm deletion
  1. Open Trash from the sidebar
  2. Select the file to restore
  3. Click Restore
  4. File returns to its original location

Files in Trash are automatically deleted after 30 days. To delete immediately:

  1. Open Trash
  2. Select the file
  3. Click Delete Permanently
  4. Confirm (this cannot be undone)
  1. Use descriptive names: Q3-2024-Sales-Report.pdf not report.pdf
  2. Create a consistent structure: Decide on a system and stick to it
  3. Archive old projects: Move completed work to an Archive folder
  4. Regular cleanup: Review and delete unnecessary files quarterly
  5. Use folders, not flat storage: Don’t dump everything in root
